“The Diet Starts On Monday”… how many times have we said those words?
Why is it that some people can eat what they want whilst others struggle with every type of diet ever invented?
Actually, for some personality types a ‘diet’ doesn’t seem to work and the word diet is actually the worst four letter word in their vocabulary.
It is particularly difficult for the subconscious mind of a compulsive person to take on board the negativity and the concept of deprivation of a diet, as ‘it’ will not want to be be told what and what not to do. They’ve probably been told off and told what they mustn’t do, since they were a child!
They use their compulsive behaviour to be compulsive about dieting as a project for a special event, but when the Wedding Day passes or the date or the new job isn’t so new anymore, then they revert to type and become compulsive about food again and put on even more weight than they lost!
Simon works with this ‘compulsivity’ (not against it) and will explain how behavioural patterns and eating habits generally stem from childhood when we were made to ‘eat everything up’ and not ‘waste’ food and to eat our ‘greens’ before the delights of a sugary dessert.
Simon will also explain how generation by generation society has produced differing eating habits and how those who grew up in the 1930’s ,40’s ,50’s and 60’s will have a different view of food than their children and grandchildren.
He will show you how to gain a ‘slimmer and trimmer’ figure forever and not just to lose weight and put it back on when you’re low and feeling unloved or unhappy.
