Flying Phobia

This is one of the most common phobias that Simon deals with and he hears all the irrational reasons why his new Clients are so distressed when flying or even contemplating booking a holiday months ahead of the event.

There are many people who have a ‘mild’ aversion to flying yet still fly, whilst others take medication or alcohol to ‘get through the ordeal’.

Remember that a ‘fear’ is important – to keep us safe and to protect us from really dangerous situations, but it needs to be in the background just in case it’s required and not out of control and therefore becoming a phobia.
