Claustrophobia
Do you have an overwhelming feeling of panic when faced with being in an elevator, a small room, a confined space, a crowded area, a tunnel or a plane?
The thought of being confined, restricted or both in these environments may cause you to feel unwell as your heart pounds, you perspire and your stomach churns and you may be experiencing the symptoms of Claustrophobia.
This is a very common complaint and it is suggested that the fear of suffocation may be ultimate psychological ‘driver’ behind this condition and therefore many people will plan their social life, journeys, holidays and working environments to include bright open places with easily identifiable exits so they can ‘breathe’ without restriction.
Simon has dealt with numerous Clients who can now enjoy planning their lives without the caveat of first checking hotel rooms for dimensions and the location of windows, stairs and exits and can now visit exotic locations in aeoroplanes and trains without the fear of panic attacks.
He generally prefers to work with new Client’s once they’ve had the chance to discuss his qualifications and experience with their GP who can endorse his qualifications and experience.
They can then contact him at his Harley Street Practice or arrange a home/office visit.
